Berlin has recalled its ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, for consultations. The decision, made by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadepoel, is intended to determine how to proceed, the ministry announced.

The peace treaty with Azerbaijan has agreed on the wording on the absence of territorial claims, non-use of force, and establishment of diplomatic relations. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the BRICS summit in Kazan.
According to him, the agreement between Yerevan and Baku has been agreed upon by 80-90%. These are fundamental issues for establishing the foundation for peace. Pashinyan also expects to intensify the process of delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan.
“Yesterday, the Armenian parliament ratified the regulation on the joint activities of the commissions on delimitation of the state border... After the entry into force of this document in both countries, we will be able to intensify the process of delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the basic principles of the Almaty Declaration of 1991,” the Armenian prime minister said.
He stressed that “all claims that Armenia has in any form agreed to a third country ensuring the security of communications on its sovereign territory, or that this is mentioned in any document, are not true.”
