On the night of July 27, in the gorge of the Argun River between the villages of Starye and Novye Atagi, there was a skirmish between the Russian military and unknown, presumably, members of the Chechen resistance. There are no civilian casualties.

Around noon in the Zavodskoy district of the city of Grozny, a Ural car with the inscription “Poker” painted on the body was blown up. Among the Russian military there are dead and wounded.
