Kadyrov's mother and the foundation she heads fell under EU sanctions

The European Union has imposed sanctions against 116 individuals and legal entities. They included Ramzan Kadyrov's mother Aimani Kadyrova and the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation headed by her.

The EU document states that Aimani Kadyrova is included in the sanctions list for participating in a program for the re-education of Ukrainian children, as well as for helping the families of Chechen and Russian military personnel who are taking part in a “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Also among the sanctioned individuals and companies are musicians Shaman and Polina Gagarina, actors Ivan Okhlobystin and Vyacheslav Manucharov, media manager Aram Gabrelyanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Alexander Moiseev, head of the Federal Property Management Agency Vadim Yakovenko, billionaire Roman Trotsenko, Ural Airlines and Volga-Dnepr airlines ", Russian shipping company "Sovcomflot".
