The health of Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Adam Kadyrov, who was injured in a traffic accident in Grozny, is improving, according to the Agency, citing sources close to the Russian presidential administration and the Chechen authorities.
At a meeting of the working group on combating illegal financial transactions in the North Caucasus Federal District, Yuri Chaika, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative to the North Caucasus Federal District, drew governors' attention to the risks of crimes associated with the misuse of budget funds. Specifically, the discussion focused on official misconduct, embezzlement, misuse, and failure to utilize funds.
"These threats can only be mitigated by combining the efforts of executive, regulatory, and law enforcement agencies, intensifying preventative measures, and establishing a full and timely exchange of information," Chaika stated.
The Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative to the North Caucasus Federal District emphasized the need to oversee the security, rational, and targeted use of budget funds allocated for the implementation of national, federal, and regional projects. He addressed this reminder, in particular, to Sergey Melikov, the head of Dagestan. The meeting participants confirmed the importance of effective interagency cooperation to identify and prevent crimes related to budgetary funds.
