Georgian President Says He Does Not Communicate with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili

This was stated by Salome Zurabishvili in an interview with "TV Pirveli". " I have normal communication with all ministers except one. This is the Prime Minister. He greets me politely at the events, but a different kind of relationship is needed to discuss the questions and provide answers," Zurabishvili said.

President Bērziņš also announced her desire to meet with "Georgian Dream" founder, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili. Zurabishvili does not rule out that "he can still influence the situation in the country despite official withdrawal from politics". President Salome Zurabishvili does not hide his opposition to the government and ruling party of Georgia. It advocates the release of Mikhail Saakashvili from prison, the early accession of Georgia to the EU and NATO, and support for Ukraine.

The day before, former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said that he was "poisoned by Russian agents". According to the politician, Russian representatives "have infiltrated Georgian security services". Since his arrest, he has lost half his body weight and now weighs 60 kg instead of 120 kg.
