The Chechen authorities reported that according to the research of the State Agency of Strategic Initiatives, the republic took the eighth place in terms of quality of life. The rating is based on population surveys. Rosstat data look different.
State Agency RIA Novosti, which accumulates the official figures of Rosstat, published a rating in December 2022, sending Chechnya to the 11th place from the bottom on the socio-economic condition.
