The Russian authorities are putting in place legal and security mechanisms that could be used in the event of a new military mobilisation, according to analysts at the U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW), who reviewed recent legislative initiatives and statements by Russian officials.
SBU announced suspicion of the head of the Chechen parliament
The SBU has charged the head of the Chechen parliament, Magomed Daudov, with involvement in a full-scale Russian invasion. “Daudov is part of Kadyrov’s inner circle and carries out his instructions to wage an aggressive war,” the department’s website says.
As a result of the shelling, three residents of three regions of Ukraine were killed and 17 were wounded.
