Security forces in armored vehicles detained Rosseti employees suspected of theft of about 2.8 billion rubles
The police detained former and current employees of the Rosseti Northern Caucasus company on suspicion of theft of about 2.8 billion rubles. TASS reported this.
Nine defendants were arrested by the Soviet Court of Makhachkala, they are in the Pyatigorsk pre-trial detention center. According to investigators, the money was allocated to create an automated electricity metering system in Dagestan. Those arrested organized an organized crime group “consisting of former and current employees of PJSC Rosseti Northern Caucasus, one of its largest divisions, Dagenergo, and contractors.”
