A Stavropol schoolgirl received community service for writing "Navalny"

In Stavropol, a 14-year-old schoolgirl was sentenced to 70 hours of community service on charges of vandalism (Part 1 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code) for writing "Navalny" on a bus stop. Her lawyer announced this.

The district administration, which refused to drop the case due to the parties' reconciliation, asked the court to impose the minimum sentence.

The girl was detained on February 16, the anniversary of the death of opposition politician Alexei Navalny. She was released after her detention, but on the same day, her home and her parents' home were searched, during which her phone was seized. During the investigation, she was under a written undertaking to appear.
