The speaker of the Chechen parliament unexpectedly resigned

Magomed Daudov, a close ally of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, announced his resignation as chairman of the republic's parliament. It is noted that this happened after a meeting with Kadyrov.

Answering a question about the new position, Daudov emphasized: “For me, the most important thing is to be on the Path of Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov. This is my calling." Let us remember that the figure he mentioned has headed the Chechen parliament since 2015.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Daudov the rank of major general. As Ramzan Kadyrov noted, his comrade-in-arms “made a significant contribution to the destruction of members of gangs during the fight against international terrorism on the territory of the republic.”
