Trump also mentioned the achievement of sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan at the summit in Washington.
"The Administration looks forward to constructive discussions on this issue in June. Together, we will promote peace, improve prosperity, and build a more stable future for your region and for the entire planet. Let me once again congratulate you on the successful organization of Baku Energy Week," Trump concluded his message.
On the same day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his desire to normalize his country's relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"I am convinced that we will achieve the goal of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey, which means that a balanced and equitable foreign policy will achieve its goal, creating new opportunities for Armenia to build a new quality of state. If we don't have relations with Turkey, it means the cup is empty, it means that some relations are disproportionate and unbalanced," Pashinyan noted in a video posted on his Facebook page.
