The regional capitals of the North Caucasus Federal District became outsiders in the industry salary rankings

The capitals of the North Caucasus regions took lower places in the ranking of the largest Russian cities in terms of salaries in various fields, published by RIA Novosti. Thus, in the TOP-100, Vladikavkaz was on the 95th line, Cherkessk - on the 94th, Grozny - on the 92nd, Magas - on the 91st, Makhachkala - on the 85th, and Stavropol - on the 55th. Civil servants receive the most in the North Caucasian Federal District - from 55 to 70 thousand rubles.

The leader in the country was Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, where the net average salary in the mining sector is 443 thousand rubles. In second place is Moscow (financial sector, 294 thousand rubles), in third place is Tyumen (mining industry, 267 thousand rubles).

Experts conducted a study based on official statistics, based on average salaries after deducting income tax for the first quarter of 2024 for permanent employees of large and medium-sized organizations, where at least 3% of the region’s employees work.
