A court has confiscated the businesses of an Azerbaijani man in Kuban

By a decision by the Krasnodar Krai court, following a lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office in favor of the Russian Federation, assets belonging to Shakhlar Novruzov, a native of Azerbaijan, have been seized. 100% of the shares in the authorized capitals of Tuapse Marine Commercial Port (TMCP) LLC and TMCP Enterprise LLC, as well as the Temryuk Marine Transshipment Terminal and Dar Fruit LLC, have been transferred to state ownership.

Novruzov was arrested in early September on charges of attempted theft of property valued at over 900 million rubles. Investigators believe he and other defendants in the case attempted to illegally acquire real estate using forged documents. A criminal case has been opened for attempted fraud on an especially large scale.
