During the annual "Year in Review" press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about support for young families, noted the tradition of early marriages in the North Caucasus. He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.
The 18-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, who recently headed the regional Ministry of Sports, Akhmat Kadyrov, was also appointed president of the Akhmat football club. This was reported by Magomed Daudov, who previously held this position for about 13 years.
“Today a meeting of the board of directors of the Akhmat football club took place, at which I resigned as president, which I held for almost 13 years. He proposed to elect Akhmat Kadyrov as president of the club,” Daudov wrote.
After 29 rounds, Akhmat ranks 10th in the RPL standings.
In April, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, appointed another, 16-year-old son Adam, as curator of the Putin Russian Special Forces University. This is an educational institution in the Russian Federation, created for the training of special units. In November 2023, Adam Kadyrov became the curator of the Sheikh Mansur battalion. In addition, he received at least 10 awards after beating 19-year-old Volgograd student Nikita Zhuravel in the Grozny pre-trial detention center.
