The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, expressed concern about the situation in Georgia, which is "taking a serious turn," emphasizing that the country's government is "moving in the wrong direction." This statement was made ahead of a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU member states.
Trump reminded that part of Georgia and Crimea were not given to Russia during his presidency
US President Donald Trump, once again criticizing the policies of his predecessors, said that Barack Obama and George Bush are to blame for the loss of Crimea and part of Georgia. On the air of the "Mark Levin Show", the American leader noted that the peninsula was "given away" by Obama, and part of Georgia was "lost" under Bush, emphasizing that under him Russia "did not take anything" from other countries.
"They took Crimea under Obama, and most of Georgia under Bush. But they did not take anything under me. I think the Russian-Ukrainian war led to World War III. It will not happen again. Don't worry about it. We'll see what happens and how it all works out," Trump concluded.
