A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

Before the invasion of Azerbaijani troops in September, 140 thousand ethnic Armenians lived in Nagorno-Karabakh, but today 47 thousand have left the region. This was reported by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

Authorities said priority will be given to those who lost their homes in areas bordering Azerbaijan. But many residents of the local “capital” Stepanakert (Khankendi) still leave the unrecognized republic.
