Searches conducted at the office of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia in connection with the embezzlement of budget funds

Employees of the Main Directorate of Internal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation conducted searches in the office of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia Mikhail Korobkin. The investigative actions were carried out as part of a criminal case on the multi-billion-dollar theft of funds intended for the work of the department.

Several months ago, employees of the financial department of the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs were detained. The amount of damage is estimated at more than 1 billion rubles. The suspects could have awarded bonuses to police officers without their knowledge, and then cashed them. At least four people have been detained.

A second group of employees of the Internal Security Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is expected to arrive in Ingushetia soon. They will also conduct an investigation.
