The accounts and property of the former head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have been seized

The accounts and property of relatives of Mikhail Nadezhin, the former head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), have been seized as part of a bribery investigation.

The seized assets include five bank accounts, two residential properties, a share in another property, a plot of land, and a Chery car.

The property of businessman Anzor Nogmov, suspected of paying Nadezhin a bribe of 2 million rubles for issuing permits from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, has also been seized.

Mikhail Nadezhin, the former head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), was detained and brought to Moscow in connection with a bribery investigation. In October 2025, the Basmanny Court sanctioned his arrest. Businessman Anzor Nogmov was also taken into custody. Nadezhin had served as head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) since 2014.
