The next stage of the dialogue between Azerbaijani and Armenian civil societies will take place in Azerbaijan from April 10 to 12 as part of the "Peace Bridge" initiative. An Armenian delegation consisting of 20 experts, journalists, and activists has already arrived in Azerbaijan by land.
This event is part of the bilateral peace agenda outlined at the trilateral summit in Washington on August 8, 2025. Key topics at the upcoming discussion sessions will be building trust and promoting peace at the societal level as a step toward further advancing the peace process.
The previous meeting took place in Armenia in February and focused on current issues in Azerbaijani-Armenian relations and the importance of implementing the Washington agreements.
In August 2025, a meeting between Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan was held in Washington, D.C., organized by US President Donald Trump. During the meeting, a declaration on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan was signed.
