Ukrainian intelligence claims responsibility for explosion near military unit in Stavropol

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine has admitted its involvement in the explosion that occurred on October 22 in Stavropol.

According to the GUR, at least three servicemen from the 247th Caucasian Cossack Regiment of the Russian Airborne Forces were killed in the incident near the checkpoint of military unit No. 54801.

Ukrainian intelligence claims that this unit has been involved in combat operations in Ukraine since 2014.
