A native of Ingushetia is kept in torture conditions in the Astrakhan colony

Abdul-Malik Albagachiyev, suffering from epilepsy, from Ingushetia, is being held in torture conditions in the Astrakhan colony of 10. Yerevan. A prisoner suffering from epilepsy is constantly being placed in the SHIZO, and prison doctors do not prevent this. This was reported by the foundation «Public verdict».

In addition, Albagagiev has an iron plate in his clavicle, which was long overdue to be removed, but it is not sent for surgery.

The lawyer appealed to the Astrakhan Regional Prosecutor’s Office and a submission was made to remedy the violations.

Epilepsy of Abdul-Malik Albagachiev developed after torture. Recently, the man was taken to the hospital - ostensibly for examination. This happened during a procuratorial inspection of the colony. 

Albagachiev was convicted in 2018. He was charged with participation in an illegal armed formation in Syria. The confession of guilt was beaten with torture, as noted by «Public verdict». The man did not admit guilt.
