The Second Western District Military Court sentenced Ingush natives Ramazan Padiyev and Batukhan Tochiyev to 18 and 22 years in a maximum-security penal colony. According to Kommersant, they were found guilty of complicity in the terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia's Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Defense (RCBD) forces, and his adjutant, Ilya Polikarpov.
A 21-year-old girl was detained for attempting to set fire to the military commissariat in the capital of Adygea, Maykop. She had four Molotov cocktails with her and a bag of fire bottles. However, she could not set fire to the building and was captured by the police.
Another similar incident occurred in Stavropol. The woman threw a Molotov cocktail into the building of the military registration and enlistment office and was detained by the police.
Since the beginning of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, there have been over 114 attempts to set fire to military registration and enlistment offices. Of these, 15 times - in recent days. In some cases, this is due to the actions of scammers who convince people that they are participating in some kind of “special operation” to catch saboteurs and traitors.
