Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has been noticeably less active on air recently. His evening show on the Rossiya-1 channel is temporarily absent, and his morning broadcasts on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio are now hosted by others. The reasons for this disappearance are being actively discussed online.
Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov's statement about the possibility of a "special military operation" in Armenia has provoked a sharp reaction in Yerevan. Tigran Hakobyan, head of the Armenian Television and Radio Commission, proposed stripping the television host of his state award, the Order of Honor.
Hakobyan recalled that Solovyov was awarded the award in 2013 for his contribution to strengthening relations between Armenia and Russia. However, according to the Armenian representative, the Russian propagandist's statements make him unworthy of the award.
"Stripping him of the Order of Honor is the minimum necessary measure to protect the dignity of the state," Hakobyan emphasized.
Vladimir Solovyov recently said that Russia should focus on its "near abroad" rather than Syria or Venezuela.
"What's happening in Armenia is much more painful for us than what's happening in Venezuela. The loss of Armenia is a gigantic problem. "The problem in our Central Asia is a gigantic problem for us, and we must clearly articulate our goals and objectives. We must explain: the games are over. International law be damned," Solovyov declared.
