Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has been noticeably less active on air recently. His evening show on the Rossiya-1 channel is temporarily absent, and his morning broadcasts on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio are now hosted by others. The reasons for this disappearance are being actively discussed online.
Armenia seeks to deepen cooperation with the European Union but does not intend to sever ties with Russia, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated.
According to him, the country remains a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and maintains economically significant cooperation with Russia. Mirzoyan noted that interaction with the EU is an evolving process, including a civilian observer mission, consultations on security and defense issues, and support through the European Peace Facility.
The minister cited the ineffectiveness of the previous security system as the reason for Armenia's accelerated course toward Europe, leading to Armenia suspending its membership in the pro-Russian Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). He also announced the beginning of visa liberalization with the EU and preparations for sectoral integration.
Previously, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the country was highly likely to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Last year, Pashinyan announced that Armenia had suspended its participation in the CSTO, as he believed the bloc posed threats to the country's security and existence.
