Health of starving opponent deteriorated in Baku remand centre

Azerbaijan People’s Front party activist Zamin Salaev continues his hunger strike in Baku detention centre for the 59th day. The prisoner protests the charges against him, demanding his release.

Salaev’s condition deteriorated further. He has severe headaches, dizziness. He can hardly move, he still faints», his lawyer said.

Recall, Zamin Salaev demands the release and termination of the fabricated criminal case against him. The man was arrested on 8 February on charges of hooliganism and use of force. He claimed that the accusation against him was false and was punished for criticizing the authorities on social media.
