Four children were born at once in a Chechen family
A set of quadruplets was born at the Republican Perinatal Center in Grozny – two girls and two boys. This is the first such case in the region in 10 years. The Ministry of Health notes that the birth of four children occurs once in 700 thousand births.

The family named the girls Alina and Almira, and the sons were named Alikhan and Amirhan. This was the third birth for their mother, Asiya Subbotina – the family also has a 7-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Asiya’s husband is a native of Dagestan, works as a jockey, and the couple lives with their children in Chechnya.
