In Chechnya, the number of married people has sharply decreased

In January-February 2025, 4,078 marriages were registered in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This is only 0.6% more than for the same period in 2024. At the same time, Chechnya saw a large decrease in the indicator - minus 20%.

An increase in the number of shortages was noted in three of the seven regions of the SCFD: in North Ossetia (+12.9%), in Stavropol (+8.8%) and in Kabardino-Balkaria (+2.3%).

If we are talking about divorces, then the situation is better here. In two months, 5,501 marriage terminations were recorded. This is 1.7 times less than for the same period in 2024. fathers studied by "Sapa". Such statistics are published by "Sapa", referring to Rosstat data.
