The Kyiv District Court of Simferopol remanded four Crimean Tatar women: Esma Nimetulayeva, Elviza Aliyeva, Nasiba Saidova, and Fevziye Osmanova, in pretrial detention for two months. The hearing was held behind closed doors, with limited access for support.

A large-scale rally involving refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh took place in the capital of Armenia on March 29. On Freedom Square, protesters pitched a tent where their headquarters will be located, Novaya Gazeta Evropa reports. Some demonstrators held portraits of Russian businessman, former state minister of the unrecognized republic Ruben Vardanyan, who has been in a Baku prison since September 2023.
According to the publication, the main demands of the organizers of the action include ensuring the refugees the opportunity to return to the NKR, protecting their rights in Armenia, releasing prisoners, etc. According to those present, many displaced persons are experiencing serious financial difficulties, and more than 20 thousand people were forced to leave the country due to social problems.
The resolution adopted by the protesters will be submitted to the Armenian authorities. The government has two weeks to fulfill the demands presented.
