The Tagansky Court of Moscow acquitted Pavel Gubarev, the former "people's governor" of the Donetsk region, of "discrediting the army." The decision was based on the lack of evidence of a violation.
In Dagestan, flood victims have already received 345 million rubles in compensation. According to the republic's government press service, approximately 88 million rubles have been allocated for one-time payments to 5,600 people. Another 256 million rubles have been allocated for property losses based on 2,500 claims. A total of 8,190 applications for payments have been received.
Deputy Prime Minister Ramazan Jafarov clarified that work teams have inspected over 19,000 homes. According to preliminary estimates, over 7,000 homes have sustained varying degrees of damage: some require major repairs, while others are completely destroyed.
As a reminder, heavy rains in late March and early April caused widespread flooding, avalanches, and mudflows in Dagestan. The disaster affected 9,825 residential buildings, of which 7,126 were deemed damaged. Six people died and more than 6,200 were injured.
