In the Untsukulsky District of Dagestan, the search for a young man who drowned while paddleboarding on the Irganai Reservoir has been ongoing for over a week.

On the evening of September 1, search operations at the reservoir were temporarily suspended due to darkness. Rescuers planned to resume the bottom survey at 1:00 a.m. on September 2.

Emergency services and volunteers are involved in the search. Rescuers and volunteers from Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, and Chechnya are participating in the operation.

"As of the evening of September 1, the group had surveyed approximately 2,450 square meters using two RB-600 remotely operated underwater vehicles and one echo sounder, covering approximately 1,600 square meters."
