In Dagestan, the head of the district rushed to go to the "SVO" after searches and the initiation of a criminal case

The head of the Buinaksk district of Dagestan, Ullubiy Khanmurzaev, said that he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and was going to the "SVO". He explained this by his patriotic duty. However, he did not mention that his house had previously been searched and, possibly, a criminal case had been initiated.

"The decision to sign a contract was delayed due to the birth of my fourth child. I had several reasons to go to the SVO. This included the defense of the Motherland, and the call of President Vladimir Putin and the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov. I want to set an example for my children and for the men of our district who are thinking about signing a contract," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to available information, a criminal case has been initiated against Khanmurzaev under Part 3 of Article 159 (fraud) and Part 1 of Article 292 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This concerns fictitious employment in municipal institutions and theft of budget funds on an especially large scale.
