Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has been noticeably less active on air recently. His evening show on the Rossiya-1 channel is temporarily absent, and his morning broadcasts on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio are now hosted by others. The reasons for this disappearance are being actively discussed online.
An incident involving the son of an official in Dagestan led to his father's resignation. In the Kumtorkalinsky district, Daniyal Absalamov, the son of the chairman of the district council, Bammat Absalamov, and a friend, while intoxicated, vandalized a local store.
According to local sources, the perpetrators struck the building's facade, threw stones, smashed furniture and refrigeration equipment, and threatened a saleswoman by throwing bottles at her. The alleged attack was likely motivated by a refusal to pay cash or offer goods on credit.
It is reported that the perpetrators resisted law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene and detained them. Following the release of video footage of the incident, Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin ordered a criminal investigation into vandalism and other illegal activities. Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergei Melikov confirmed the official's resignation.
