The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has published a report alleging that Georgian authorities used chemical weapons during the suppression of pro-European protests in Tbilisi in 2024. The chemical weapon in question is bromobenzyl cyanide, a chemical warfare agent dating back to World War I, also known as "kamit."
Dagestan and Ingushetia have the lowest collection rates for household waste.
Debts of Russians for the removal of solid household waste (garbage) exceeded 90 billion rubles. A number of environmental operators have difficulties in collecting payments. The worst results are in Ingushetia, Dagestan and the Khabarovsk Territory (less than 70%), the relevant Duma committee reported.
The State Duma noted that due to non-payment sufferers conscientious consumers, since tariffs have to take into account the costs of debt collection and servicing of credits covering cash gaps.
The Environmental Operator (EVR) sent the data to the relevant agencies to develop a federal scheme for handling TRCs and to improve the efficiency of the collection of payments.
