In Dagestan, over 32,000 flood victims have received compensation

More than 32,000 residents of Dagestan affected by the spring floods have received financial assistance, according to the press service of the regional branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Representatives of the ministry also reported the restoration of all critical life support systems in Dagestan.

As a reminder, the spring floods, caused by heavy rainfall, affected several regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. The disaster had particularly severe consequences in Dagestan: over 10,000 homes were damaged, and 1,600 of them require major repairs.

Cash compensation was approved for over 26,600 people. The total number of applications submitted exceeded 274,000.
