In Dagestan, one of the attackers on a police officer was identified as the son of the former head of the district
Last night in Derbent, three men attacked a 28-year-old police officer. They beat him, took his gun and shot him at least eight times. The criminals were detained in the Tabasaran district. One of the attackers is the son of the former head of this district.
 
A criminal case has been opened under the articles on the attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer and theft of weapons with the use of violence. The main suspect is 37-year-old Sandro Shakhmagomedov, who is associated with local criminal groups. The injured police officer is in intensive care, his condition is assessed as serious. The attackers face life imprisonment.
