Ali Karimli, leader of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, announced he was banned from participating in the Democracy Forum in Prague. He claimed the ban came from President Ilham Aliyev.
In Dagestan, residents again protested against power cuts

The night before, residents of Makhachkala blocked the road on Gamidov and Akushinsky avenues. They complained of a lack of electricity for several days. Due to this, heating devices in houses also do not work.
Security forces came out to the avenues, and representatives of Dagenergo promised to restore the power supply. “The situation is under the control of the government of Dagestan and the Ministry of Energy and Tariffs,” the Ministry of Energy of the republic assured.
Similar spontaneous rallies due to power outages have already occurred here in the summer. More than 500 people took to the streets in the Makhachkala village of Semender.
