In Dagestan, residents rallied in support of the detained doctor accused of terrorism

In the village of Nizhnee Kazanishche, Buynaksky district of Dagestan, residents took to the streets to protest against the detention by security forces of their countryman, surgeon Osman Osmanov. He is charged with terrorist article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the doctor's relatives, he was arrested a few months ago for some events 10 years ago. Allegedly, in the city of Megion (KhMAO), he was one of the organizers of a terrorist cell. However, at that time he was in Dagestan.

Those who gathered, knowing Osmanov as a decent and law-abiding person, demanded to release him. They are sure that he has nothing to do with terrorism.
