Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.
A native of Chechnya was detained in Germany on suspicion of killing a fellow countryman

In the German city of Reichenbach-Mi-Fogtland, a native of Chechnya named Ibrahim died from stab wounds. On suspicion of murder, his fellow countryman was detained. According to the police, the suspect got into the car to Ibrahim and stabbed him with a knife.
The tragedy occurred in the presence of a woman and young children - members of the family of the murdered, who were also in the car.
The investigation directed the body of the murdered for examination to establish a possible origin of wounds.
