Protests against the war in Ukraine took place in Georgia and Armenia
In Tbilisi and Yerevan, emigrants from Russia and local residents held actions against the country's military invasion of Ukraine, as well as against political repression in the Russian Federation. In both cases, the events were timed to coincide with the anniversary of the return of opposition politician Alexei Navalny to Russia.
Thus, in Yerevan, participants held posters with anti-war and anti-Kremlin slogans. They chanted: “Freedom for political prisoners,” “Russia will be free.” Many of them spoke out against the Russian political regime and repression.
In Tbilisi, participants held posters with the inscriptions “Freedom for Navalny”, “Russia without Putin” and calls against the war in Ukraine.
