In the Chegem district of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, a local court fined Alibek S., serving a sentence in Correctional Colony No. 1 in the village of Kamenka. The charge was based on a charge of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, under an article of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

A protest against the bill on foreign agents took place outside the parliament building in Tbilisi. About 100 people came out with posters “No to Russian law” and “Two years of stubbornness in Europe.”
Recently, the ruling Georgian Dream party introduced a bill “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” to parliament. It provides for the registration of those NGOs and media whose 20% of income is received from abroad. After this, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili stated that “the ruling party is sabotaging the European path” of Georgia.
The Georgian authorities first introduced this bill more than a year ago. This led to massive protests in the country. As a result, it was rejected.
