Purge began in Georgian state structures
Against the background of mass protests, which do not subside even in the midst of winter holidays, the government is bringing "order" to the state departments of Georgia. This is written in the Telegram channel SOVA. According to the publication, civil servants began to report dismissal from work due to political views and an open critical position.

In particular, the head of the Department of Resocialization and Rehabilitation of Convicts and Ex-Prisoners of the Center for Crime Prevention Nino Tkeshelashvili, the head of the Center for Juvenile Affairs Natiya Aliashvili, the head of the Department for Juvenile Affairs, Mediation and Prevention of Criminals Koba Baramia and the adviser to the head of the CEC Vako Maisuradze came under the purge. And this information is only for one day yesterday.

The situation in Georgia became the subject of a conversation between the adviser to the head of the administration of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak and the editorial staff of the Lithuanian publication Delfi. He noted that the vast majority of citizens are not interested in the pro-Russian policy of the ruling party. According to Podoliak, "Russia hates sovereign countries and will always try to control their subjects with the instruments it demonstrates in Georgia." Among such tools, in particular, he considered the most brutal suppression of alternative political movements and parties, the monopolization of the government, and the deprivation of citizens' rights and freedoms. At the same time, Podoliak is convinced that such methods will not work in Georgia and the country will not be under the total control of the Kremlin.
