Ingushetia has labeled a video about "desecration of Ossetian graves" a fake

The Regional Control Center (RCC) of Ingushetia reported the spread of a fake news story on social media, allegedly showing the "desecration of Ossetian graves" in the village of Plievo in the Nazran District.

The video, disguised as a news broadcast from the Ossetia-Iryston TV channel, uses a fragment of a real broadcast in which the original audio about fraudulent schemes has been replaced with a fake one, likely created using a neural network. The RCC believes the purpose of this disinformation is to tarnish Ingushetia's image and provoke tensions between the regions.

The editorial staff of the Ossetia-Iryston TV channel officially denied any involvement in the dissemination of the fake video and urged users to remain vigilant.
