In Ingushetia, a case has been opened on the attempted murder of the deputy head of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Ingushetia has opened a criminal case on the attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer and illegal arms trafficking.
 
On the evening of October 11, unknown persons opened fire in Nazran on the service car of the deputy head of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region, Adam Khamkhoev.
 
As a result of the attack, three people were killed, one of whom was a police officer. Khamkhoev himself was not injured. The attackers left the scene. Their VAZ-2115 car was found burned out in the rural settlement of Mayskoye in North Ossetia.
 
Previously, Adam Khamkhoev was the deputy of Ibragim Eldzharkiev, the former head of the Ingush Center for Combating Extremism, who was killed in Moscow in 2019.
