The FSB Public Relations Center (PRC) reported the arrest of three individuals in Ingushetia who allegedly operated a communications center for a Ukrainian fraudulent call center. Those arrested range in age from 17 to 30. According to the FSB, their activities resulted in the theft of 1.3 million rubles.

"The suspects are involved in organizing the illegal operation of a subscriber traffic terminal (SIM box) in Ingushetia for the purpose of committing fraud against the Russian Federation in collusion with Ukrainian call center employees," the security forces reported.
According to investigators, 146 SIM cards, a SIM box, a laptop, and communication devices containing Telegram correspondence with Ukrainian handlers were found and seized during the searches. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 274.3 of the Russian Criminal Code, which provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to five years.
