In Kabardino-Balkaria, two people were killed during the CTO

In the suburbs of Nalchik, security forces shot and killed two people. According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, those killed “were planning to commit sabotage and terrorist attacks.”

At around 5 a.m., in the area of the Nasyp gardening community, unknown persons fired at an armored car of the Russian Guard, NAC reports. FSB and Russian Guard officers blocked the intruders. After the shootout, two of them were killed.

Explosive technicians are working at the site of the clash, automatic weapons and ammunition have been found, and there are no casualties among security forces or civilians.

Earlier, a counter-terrorist operation regime was declared in the Cherkessk region of Kabardino-Balkaria and part of the territory of Nalchik.
