The KBR fined citizens who did not stand during the playing of the Russian anthem

The Nalchik Magistrate's Court imposed fines of 3 thousand rubles on eight citizens who did not stand during the singing of the anthem at school No. 33.

Parents of ninth-graders were guilty of sitting during a solemn moment at the graduation party. There were nine of them. On July 23, the case of one of the women will be considered by the court in Chegem.

One of those fined, Andzor Khalilov, said that his wife did not get up because she suffered from varicose veins. He added that many in the republic do not know that it is mandatory to stand up during the playing of the anthem, and there is a penalty for failure to comply with this requirement.

“This is the first time I’ve seen someone react so harshly,” the man noted.
