Three men killed in special operation in Kabardino-Balkaria

According to media reports, three men were killed in a special operation in Kabardino-Balkaria. The FSB claims that they were planning an attack on law enforcement officers and offered armed resistance.

"When detained, the attackers offered armed resistance and were neutralized by return fire. There were no losses among law enforcement personnel," they quote the FSB statement.

According to security forces, this happened on the outskirts of the village of Islamey in the Baksan district of Kabardino-Balkaria. Three armed men were found in a car. In response to the law enforcement officers' demand to surrender, they opened fire from firearms.
