In Crimea, police officers issued human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov a warning against violating the law. Law enforcement officials explained the document's origins in connection with the upcoming holiday on May 9th, but such actions typically occur shortly before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People (May 18th).
A man was detained in the KBR who “on instructions from Ukrainian curators was planning to blow up the station”
Security forces detained a 42-year-old man in Nalchik. During interrogation, he admitted that he was in contact with Ukrainian curators by telephone and planned to blow up the building of the city railway station by the New Year. This was reported in the ASTRA telegram channel.
According to an unofficially confirmed version, the man bought the necessary components to make an improvised explosive device and stored them in a rented garage. In the room they found two bags of ammonium nitrate, a bag of nails and screws, bottles of solvents and two IEDs. A criminal case has been initiated under articles of a terrorist act, illegal production of explosives and illegal acquisition of explosives.
