Three Russian citizens of Chechen origin, who were held in the transit zone of Tbilisi Airport for several days without explanation, have been sent away on flights to Turkey and Italy. A lawyer, who requested anonymity, told *Kavkazsky Uzel* (Caucasian Knot) that the conditions described by the men may constitute a violation of Georgian law.

Azerbaijan has joined the Makkah Convention on Cooperation among Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Combating Corruption. The document was signed during the third meeting of law enforcement representatives from OIC member states, held in Baku on October 27–28, according to Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, Kamran Aliyev.
