In Makhachkala, the death toll from the explosion at a gas station has risen to 30 people

An explosion at a car service in Makhachkala killed 30 people, including three children. 110 people were injured, including 16 children, 65 were sent to hospitals, 10 were in serious condition. This was announced by the Ministry of Health of Dagestan.

Recall that in Makhachkala there was an explosion at a car service, next to the Nafta 24 gas station, followed by an explosion of two tanks at the gas station itself. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers, which negligently entailed the death of two or more persons).

Investigators have identified the owner of the car service. According to preliminary data, it turned out to be 39-year-old Ibragim Shamkhalov. The man is scheduled to be interrogated soon.
